Q. I collected the keys for my room but didn't move in. Do I still have to pay the rent?

Yes - you will be required to pay the rent from the start of the contract. Depending on when the keys are returned to the Student Living Office further charges may also apply (e.g. end of the contract, concessionary charge of £350/450 to cover the Replacement Costs).
