Q. Can I remain in my current off-campus property for the next academic year?

If your whole group wishes to remain please nominate one housemate who will be required to submit an online application for an off-campus accommodation 2024/25 session, by a given deadline. The deadline and an information if your property is available for the next session normally is emailed to current residents in November/December time, each year.  

If any of your housemates are leaving at the end of the contract and others wish to stay on, it may still be possible. You will need to find replacement residents for those who are moving out and not renewing. 

If you are planning to move to a new Brunel Student Lettings property please nominate one new group member who will require to submit an online application for an off-campus accommodation 2024/25 session.

All residents must be full-time enrolled Brunel University London students continuing their studies for the 2024/25 academic year.

If you wish to renew the contract for a further year at the same property, you will not be required to pay a £350 deposit; the £350 deposit that was paid for session 2023/24 can be rolled over to 2024/25. Each replacement residents, new residents and residents moving to a different property will be required to pay the £350 deposit.

A nominated person's application information will override any to-date provided information.

Once we have received your application, we will be in contact with you for the 2024/25 letting year and you will be required to sign a new Tenancy Agreement.

For information on your liabilities (and resident change information) after you have paid a £350 deposit and signed a Tenancy Agreement (before or after you have collected your keys) please read a sample agreement. 

If only part of your current group (e.g. 4 out of 5 residents) would like to secure your property for next session you must submit a new application, sign an agreement and share your accommodation cost between a smaller number of residents. Once you find an additional resident, before or after the signed 2024/25 agreement start date, you will be able to sign a new agreement. Please mention on your application if this is your intention so we could confirm that this is possible before you sign/commit to your first agreement.
