If you do secure an official placement whilst living in halls and wish to vacate your room, please submit your cancellation form via the Accommodation Centre Student Hub and state that you are going on placement. You do not require to email us unless you have any further queries. Accommodation Centre will seek verification from the Placement Office of your placement commencement date. You will be liable for fees for the number of nights you have the keys to your room plus the number of nights until your room is re-let, from the date the keys are received by your Residence Manager. A maximum charge of £250 (£350 for studio flats) will be applicable for the period between the keys being returned and the room being re-let. A member of the Accommodation Centre Team will email you a breakdown of charges to your Accommodation Fees. 

If your placement starts during the third term (summer term) 7.4 in the rules and regulations apply.
