Single Ensuite Rooms- You will find out if your application is successful around mid March and successful students will receive an email confirmation. Provisional allocations (type of room e.g. Ensuite/Studio) will be announced by the end of March. From mid April onwards the Allocations Team will confirm which Halls of Residence (e.g. Fleming, Isambard etc) you have been formally allocated to.
If demand from returning students is greater than the supply of rooms, students who apply by the deadline date will be entered into a ballot for a place in halls in order of policy priority. Those who apply after the deadline date will not be entered into the ballot and will have a lower priority.
Studios/ flats- Provisional allocations will be made on a first come first served basis from mid March and will continue until the studio flats are fully booked with priority given to co-habiting couples.
Late applications- Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered subject to availability once all of the on-time applications have been processed.
