The University recognises that in exceptional cases some students who have a permanent and substantial disability or have a medical condition could not attend university unless they are accommodated on campus.
If you believe that you have a medical condition will be asked to get in contact directly with the Student Wellbeing Team to book an appointment to see a Disability Advisor. You would be assessed for your medical condition and Student Wellbeing Team will then advise Accommodation Centre if you require any special adaption to your room. If you would like to contact the Wellbeing Team for further information please email them at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please refer to the University Medical Policy to check if you meet the criteria, before you contact the Student Wellbeing Team to be assessed.
Further details on the facilities provided for students with disabilities in the Halls of Residence can be found online.
