If you are a returning student applying for accommodation for the next academic year then the deposit is required by the deadline given on the application. It would not be possible to extend the deadline. If you are applying after the deadline then no deposit is required as your details will be added to the waiting list.

If you are a new student who has been offered a room prior to the start of session you would usually be given a deadline of around 2 to 3 days to pay your deposit. It is possible, in exceptional circumstances, to request a short extension to make this payment. Please call the Student Living Team on 01895 267900 or email bca@brunel.ac.uk to discuss the reasons why you are unable to pay.

If you are offered a room during term time payment is required on the day the room is offered. Therefore, it is advisable to make sure that you are in a position to make a payment, as room offers could be made at any stage. Please note that you will be required to pay a deposit. It would be your responsibility to make sure that once you have been given a room and invoiced your accommodation on your e-Vision account that you pay the proportion of the rent to ensure you are financially inline with students already living on campus.

If you are living on campus and unable to meet the rental payments please visit 'I am having financial problems and can't pay my rent, where can I get advice?'.
