The University Network security and licencing is extremely strict for all users staff/students/visitors and the main purpose of the network availability is to support your studying/research. The network data rates is as is; on the network and no downloading of anything is allowed by the University Academic Licence and if these rules are ignored you could end up losing your network account altogether. Every user (all staff and all students) signs as having read and understood the rules which can be found online.
The quota limit pages (email quota) and (filestore quota) can be found online. PGR students get 1 GB filestore quota as their default limit.
